Invisalign® is the leading treatment for straightening teeth and compared to traditional wired braces, they are much more comfortable!
The treatment consists of a set of invisible aligners made from ultra-lightweight clear plastic. The clear trays are custom made for your teeth in a specialised laboratory and then fitted at our practice. Once one set of aligners has done their job, they’re replaced by the next set, and the movement of the teeth is gradual but noticeable, until they’re in exactly the right position. They are worn throughout the day and night and will start to straighten, align and give you back your smile.

The Procedure
With Invisalign®, it’s important to create a fully bespoke plan for you that tailors to your every need. The first stage will be visiting our practice for a consultation so that we can determine if it’s right for you and what you’re hoping to achieve. If you are a suitable candidate and you’re ready to go ahead, our orthodontics will then start formulating a treatment plan. When you next visit our practice, we will take accurate impressions of your top and bottom set of teeth before sending them off to our partner laboratories. The laboratories will create your custom-made Invisalign® aligners and then return them to our practice.
We will then arrange a second appointment with you for when we are expecting the aligners to be created and returned. We will get you to try your custom-made aligners to ensure that they are the perfect fit. If any adjustment needs to be made, our orthodontics dental team will refine your smile for you.
Throughout the next few months, to achieve the best results it’s important to maintain your smile to achieve straight teeth. It’s essential to wear the aligners immediately after treatment and visit us if you are experiencing any comfort issues with them.
